A Dark Day in November

I can recall the days when I was out and about while many of my peers were hidden away inside the transgender parties -- scattered about in New York City, New Jersey and/or Long Island -- thinking how brzen I was. But the real pioneers came courage-drenched decades before. And on November 15th we lost one of those big personalites who spoke from the gut without apology to -- or concern about -- the disagreeing masses. Lesie Feinberg was an avid activist and author (Stone Butch Blues, Transgender Warrior) and most recently was working on the 20th edition of the former.
