Who Defines Beauty?

Generally speaking - beautiful women.

Women that can be from a different time period, from the screen goddess to lady of high society, to the pop stars, our tastes vary, and our idea of beauty canspan across a diverse set of facial and physical characteristics. Those we emulate need not be ultra thin, as we rarely are either, but they usually have striking looks, a beautiful smile and a sparkling personality.

TG’s span the range of having a feminine side they display part time, to living full time as a woman. I am the former – I’m a crossdresser. Our TG LIFE columnists span the gamut from CD’s to TS’s. But we usually have one thing in common: We base our style and look upon what has been visually ingrained upon us.

Who Do We Pick To Emulate?

There are tens of thousands of beautiful women from the US to China, yet there is that special sorority of women that have captured the hearts and minds of men and women alike through the ages.

Hands down, no matter who we are in the TG spectrum, there are always the obvious choices; those women that are strong, beautiful, and talented. They have made their mark on our senses through their actions, deeds, accomplishments and state of grace.

They were presented to us through the visual mediums of film and television, and left a lasting impression on our idea of the ultimate woman we wanted to be. The short list would include Marilyn Monroe, Cher, Liz Taylor, Rita Hayworth, Kate and Audrey Hepburn, Farrah Fawcett, Britney Spears, Jackie Onassis, as well as those statuesque models such as Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Iman, and the list goes on.
