Ruby Rose [Langenheim] was Australian born in 1966; she is a gender-bender model, DJ, recording artist, actress, television presenter, and former MTV VJ. First noticed as a conetender on THE GIRLFRIEND MODEL SEARCH in 2002, she later gained the media spotlight as a presenter on MTV Australia. She collaborated with the Australian fashion label Milk and Honey in 2010 to design a fashion line that embodied her unique style and personality. Milk and Honey Designed by Ruby Rose includes washed jeans, leather jackets and T-shirts with unique designs. Rose also collaborated with Phoebe Dahl to design street-wear for Faircloth Lane. As a model she has has been featured within mainstream fashion titles, including Vogue Australia, InStyle Magazine, Marie Claire Magazine, Cleo, Cosmopolitan, Maxim, Nylon and New York's Inked Magazine. She's been the Australian ambassador for JVC, Australian clothes company JAG, and luxury Danish label Georg Jensen. In addition to being the face of Maybelline New York in Australia, in 2016 she also became the face of Urban Decay Cosmetics Ruby also appeared in the teleivsion hit Orange Is The New Black, the show that further propelled the career of Lavern Cox.
